They have transparent backgrounds so you can drop them easily into web pages without further image editing. To download images on a Macintosh, drag the image onto the desktop (or hold your mouse over it and choose Save As from the pop-up menu that appears). To download images on a Windows PC, hold your mouse over the image and choose Save As from the pop-up menu that appears.
